The Rescue Express fleet consists of four 40-foot Thomas school buses.  Each bus has been converted and outfitted to safely and humanely transport upwards of 200 animals on each trip. Each bus is equipped with 100,000 BTU heating and cooling capabilities such that the animals will be comfortable regardless of the outside weather.

Each bus includes 5 different carrier sizes to safely secure animals of all ages, breeds and sizes for the duration of the journey. The animals are monitored throughout the transport by the Transport Supervisor. Should an animal appear to be in distress our staff is capable of evaluating the problem and responding appropriately.
